This coffee is produced by a small group of farmers that live around the town of San Agustin in Hulia. Although each farm is no larger than 2.5 hectares, they work together to share best practices in an effort to elevate all of the coffee that is being produced. This has led to the region gaining a reputation for producing beautiful coffee including this award winning selection from the Los Naranjos Growers Competition.
The coffee is best enjoyed as a filtered brew, ideally with a paper filter. Tasting notes will include tangy tropical fruits and a sugary, chocolate mouth feel. Papaya and melon with a cocoa finish.
Method: Paper Filter 16:1 ratio of water to coffee, e.g. 352 grams of water to 22 grams of coffee
